    As Director:
    Founded schools in South America under the umbrella of a stateside non-profit. Researched demographics to determine which cities and nations could benefit from our schools. Tailored marketing materials, publications, and products to cultural differences. Launched three schools, expanded activities into three other nations, and oversaw a staff of 17 with over 75 volunteers and a $100k budget.

    Led operations, secured locations, hired and developed staff. Communicated with donors, partners, and non-profits via newsletters, social media, and audio and video presentations. Responsible for all marketing materials and published a quarterly newspaper, monthly newsletter, and weekly e-updates.
    As Aide:
    South America and Asia: Scheduled flights, hotels, itineraries, and acted as host on a monthly basis for individuals and groups of clients and visitors. Presented yearly at conferences through networking and speeches.

    Escambia County: Acted as chief of staff, facilitated interactions between management and staff, assisted the PIO by photographing individuals and facilities to create a photo library. Created and implemented cash handling policies and procedures, assisted Board of Governance meetings, kept minutes, wrote and proofread County Proclamations.

    Projects


    Creativity and Marketing:
    ★ Creation of marketing strategy via radio, newspapers, books, CDs, MP3s, and video news. ★ Updated U.S. based partnerships through newsletters, postcards, emails, and video podcasts. ★ Oversaw all marketing outreaches for Chilean, Ecuadorian, and Colombian schools. ★ Created a Video Training school for distribution throughout Chile. ★ Designed newspapers (Spanish), newsletters, flyers, mail-outs, rack cards, and web page layouts. ★ Wrote curricula, lesson plans, and scripted video presentations, designed posters, banners, video updates, direct mail, eNews, magazine articles. ★ Tutored English as a second language, taught education on life skills for the poor, and ministry training. Developed education programs for the poor in conjunction with the local school systems.
    Project Management:
    ★ Facilities acquisition, expansion, renovation, and development. Negotiation and leasing of properties in Chile, Ecuador, and Colombia. Curricula creation and execution. ★ Learned through self-study and research, cultural and legal variations for conducting business and navigating laws in three nations to establish schools, and operate within the varying legal systems. ★ Effectively and efficiently established multiple areas/locations of operations. ★ Oversaw purchasing of equipment, supplies, furniture, and vehicles for schools.
    Aide:
    ★ Created PowerPoint slides for Escambia County Board Meetings. ★ Served as chief spokesperson for five schools while networking and developing relationships with various charitable organizations and schools. ★ Oversaw scheduling and coordination with partner agencies. ★ Collaborated with team to create video and radio campaigns and outreach programs for the poor. ★ Assisted the Commissioner’s Aides with their daily calls.
    Leadership:
    ★ Direct oversight of 20 managers at Alorica. Boosted morale and led team to highest overall scores. ★ Managed a staff of 30 in Chile, Ecuador, and Colombia who led a volunteer force of 200 strong. ★ Kept a sister agency in Ecuador from becoming defunct. Doubled attendance rates and tripled organizational income within nine months. ★ Weekly guest at the ‘Univeridad Autónoma del Caribe’ English Radiobroadcast. ★ Served U.S. Embassy as contact for expatriates informing citizen’s events and procedures during crises.
    Operations:
    ★ Simultaneously responsible for Comcast accounts: Billing, Office of Tom Karinshak, and Social Media generating annual revenues of $8.9m. ★ Responsible for timely report development, implementation, and distribution. ★ Represented Alorica through direct communication with Comcast senior managers. ★ Managed staffing levels, attrition, and spearheaded shift bids and rolled out schedule changes. ★ Recruitment, evaluation, and development of managers, boosted morale and maximized productivity. ★ Created job descriptions and positions for all of our Latin American Schools.
    Budgeting:
    ★ Oversaw budget creation, execution, and funding from within and outside of foreign nations. ★ Performed detailed organizational analysis, prepared related income/loss reports, drafted strategic plans to grow the organization, benchmarking progress, and associated budgeting.
